That we try to travel as often as possible, which should be clear by now. But how do we do that every time catch that plane? Do they have a money tree in the garden? That requires our environment itself regularly. We wrote earlier tips to save money in your everyday life and tips to save money on a trip, but there is an important part of your journey where you can save a lot of money: your airline ticket. But how do you find a cheap flight ticket? Read the tips!

1. USE COMPARISON TOOL
You have several comparison websites for airfare, but for us, there remains one head and shoulders above the rest stabbing: Skyscanner. Both the website and the app works very quickly and are usually accurate. But to really find the cheapest, there are a few tricks for using Skyscanner.

2. FIND THE CHEAPEST PLACE DEPARTURE
Often the cheapest flights depart not from Amsterdam, but for example from Eindhoven. Or if you live in the east of the country, it might be just as convenient for you to fly from Dusseldorf. Skyscanner allows you to select an entire country as their base, for example, type in departure 'Netherlands', 'Belgium' and 'Germany' and Skyscanner automatically finds the cheapest airport to your destination.

3. SELECT A DESTINATION ON THE BASIS OF THE PRICE
Skyscanner allows you instead of searching for a specific destination, also search Everywhere. If you choose this option, combined with the previous point, you really get the cheapest tickets in the picture. So you fill in at departure 'Netherlands' and on Destination Anywhere' and looks at which countries are at the top come to be. Usually all you have in this way for around 30 euros a return address and you again come to a surprising destination!

4. FLEXIBLE DATES
If you are flexible in your dates, it also saves a lot in price. You can then select at Skyscanner for a whole month and then to play with the data. Click also encourage different start dates, then automatically change the prices of final data with it. So you can easily find which airfare is cheapest on which dates.

5. FIND VERY OFTEN FOR CHEAP TICKETS
Prices of air change every day. Apparently his tickets on weekends more expensive than during the week and on Tuesday and Thursday the best days to book. But maybe it's just best to keep the prices of airline tickets for your dream destination to keep an eye on for a while. Then you know if the price can go down and what is the right time to book.

6. KEEP EYE ON ACTIONS
A very famous, but also really sharp action is that of KLM, the world deal weeks. During the world deal weeks, there are many destinations priced really sharp. You know so far in advance that you want to fly somewhere, you can monitor and books during this promotional period. Other ticket sites like Cheaptickets.nl, Vliegtickets.nl, E-bookers, Expedia and WTC.nl often have actions. The best you can sign up for email newsletters from these sites, you sure you do not miss action. Sometimes there are indeed actions with Groupon vouchers for airline sites.

7. BOOK LONG, EITHER VERY SHORT IN ADVANCE
If you have long know in advance where you want to save the money going to book early. Once namely scarcity of tickets, the price goes up. Are you as above flexible dates, destination and departure point? Then it might just be smart to wait until shortly before (a few days). If the planes are not full at risk of being there at the last moment so often discounted.
